The landscape design for the Contemporary Art project earned the ALCA Judge’s Award for complete landscape renovation of this southwest contemporary residence. Rain water is passively harvested, while numerous boulders provide mulch to prevent soil evaporation. Existing Sonoran Desert plants such as Ironwood trees and Saguaros act as a natural backdrop for new native plantings which add rhythm, interest, and color to the landscape.
