Design Process
Preliminary Presentations
The preliminary presentations are the initial unveiling of the plan. In many instances more than one design layout is created for the client. In any case, a detailed conversation results in a unique synergy between client and designer, resulting in the creation of a distinctive outdoor living space that imparts an exceptional style and sense of place for the client. The designer solidifies the vision for the plan. At this point the plan is submitted to a recommended contractor and a cost estimate for installation is generated. Based on pricing, adjustments may be made to the plan and the final design is agreed upon.
Final Presentations
This is the grand finale where the landscape plan is presented in color on paper and given to the client. Final payment is made at this time. The installation may now be scheduled into the contractor’s construction calendar.
Installation Phase
Installation consultation services by the designer are strongly recommended to ensure the integrity of the design intent. Site meetings are scheduled with the designer, and hardscape is marked and reviewed with client prior to installation. Plants are hand-set and adjusted in situ. An hourly rate may be charged, depending on the installation arrangements.
Consulting Services
Consulting services are charged at the hourly rate.
